GIS, Inc. was founded in 1948 in USA by Mr. Clyde Pregeant, Snr. with core business focus on Onshore Construction, Offshore Maintenance & Brownfield activities in the Gulf of Mexico region, USA. GIS is based in Galliano, Louisiana.
Pivot Engineering Co. Ltd.(PECL), a subsidiary of Honeywell Group , is an indigenous EPC contractor with high reputation in power and energy services industry in Nigeria with annual turnover of more than N3-5bn in the past three years. PECL founded in 1988, is a subsidiary of the Honeywell Group, a Nigerian group of businesses owned by Mr. Oba Otudeko – CFR, FCA, FCIB, FCIS (Hons), D.Sc (Hons), and a past president of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE)
In 2009, PECL acquired the equity shares of GIS Inc. thus reducing GIS Inc. business interest in PGIS to only Technical Partner arrangement.
PESL was setup to provide a focused approach to Honeywell Group Limited’s involvement in the Nigerian energy and oil & gas industries. PES oversees at management level with focus on setting the strategic direction of all the operating companies under its purview. However, each company runs its own operations independently and cooperatively.
