Founded in 1925, the University for Foreigners of Perugia is the oldest and most prestigious national institution involved in teaching and research activities as well as in the diffusion of the Italian language and civilization in all of its expressions.

The University has attracted tens of thousands of students and teachers from all over the world and
has established cooperations with various Italian teaching centers abroad.

In close continuity with the teaching experience carried out since 1992, Degree courses, specialisation Degrees and Post-graduate courses, open to both Italian and foreign students, are organized in two macro-areas: teaching and promotion of the Italian language and international and publicity communication.
