Based in Cape Town, Ronin™ (SA) was established in 1995 and takes its name from the Legend of the Forty-Seven (47) Ronin, an icon of loyalty to both Master and State in Japanese culture.
By 2001 Ronin™ (SA) had obtained international acclaim as a provider of progressive high risk close protection training to the fast growing international industry.
High Risk Close Protection Training
Ronin™ (SA) provides progressive PSIRA (SA), SIA (UK) and Queensland (Australia) compliant High Risk & Corporate Close Protection & Firearm Training and was the first South African Training Academy to have its course officially recognised and approved by the United Kingdom Awarding Bodies.
Course certificates are underwritten by both Industry Qualifications (IQ) (Close Protection Certificate) and Qualsafe Awards (Level 3 in First Response Emergency Care) and are valid for licensing by the Security Industry Authority of the United Kingdom (SIA) in order to work within the United Kingdom, Africa and the Middle East.
Ronin SA's accreditation became truly multi-national when our Close Protection Graduates got the opportunity to gain Australian State Licensing.
