The Grenoble Institute of Technology (Institut polytechnique de Grenoble - Grenoble INP) combines academic programs with fruitfull research and business partnerships to help meet major challenges such as micro and nanotechnologies, energy, digital world, environment, and industry: globalization et innovation.

For more than, 100 years, it has been training engineers and doctoral students in key technologies. It is one of the Europe's leading technology universities, with high-quality engineering degree programs and 15 international programs taught in English.

It is also a funding member of CLUSTER, a consortium of 12 Leading European Universities of Science and Technology for Education and Research and associate members from around the world. In China, Grenoble Institute of Technology manages IFCEN, a sino-French engineering school in the field of nuclear energy.

With its 26 labs, 10 international labs (in China, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Vietnam and Brazil) and 5 technology platforms, it is recognized for its cuitting-edge research in some of today's most promising technology field.

The Grenoble Institute of Technology works closely with business through hundreds of partnership agreements, including some with major multinationals such as STMicroelectronics, IBM, EDF, Schneider Electric, Caterpillar, HP ...
It also plays and active role in numerous European research initiatives bringing together research, education and industry to spur innovation and facilitate technology transfer.
