Karatina University is a chartered public university. It is situated in Kagochi, 15 km North of Karatina Town, in a serene environment that is conducive for learning. We also have campuses in Karatina town, Nyeri, Nanyuki and Itiati. The University’s vision is to be a university of excellence, meting the dynamic needs and development of the society. Its mission is to conserve, create and disseminate knowledge through training, research, innovation and community outreach.
