Independent University, Bangladesh(IUB) is established in 1993 and currently having around 7,048 undergraduate and graduate student and over 10,455 alumni.
IUB is one of the first private universities in Bangladesh.
IUB Currently has six schools(School of Environmental Science and Management, School of Business, School of Engineering and Computer Science, School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, School of Public Health, and School of Life Sciences) which offers 4-year undergraduate and graduate degrees in a whole range of disciplines which are expanding every year.
