Gravitas investments Limited is duly incorporated in Nigeria, and consistently regarded as being in good standing since its incorporation in 1999.
The company is focused on investing in prime real estate from inception, culminating in its decision in 2006, to transform into a city developer, taking in real estate, urban planning and infrastructure development as key components of its enlarged focus.
Thus, the company applied to Lagos State Government to reclaim part of the Lagos Lagoon with a plan to create a new urban neighbourhood. In parallel to its interface with Lagos State Government, the company also engaged the Federal Government for its approval. The long process at both levels of government culminated in the flagship Gracefield Island that is now becoming a reality.
The Board of the company is composed of eminent and successful people from various walks of life, with a core team of young and brilliant people jointly driving the visionary project.
