Adexen was mandated by an international Logistics Group to recruit an experimented Business Analyst for its operations. The position is based in Lagos.
Responsibilities
Control the logistics operations by identifying and measuring all critical steps on the operations process and ensuring that the minimum operations standards as required by Group HQ are met.
Ensure that penalties that resultsfrom inefficient operations are kept at the minimum/eradicated (storage charges, disbursement debits andData errors),and is known as the main contact for all related statisticsand set-up in IPAKI (EDI, New Set-up and so on).
Constant control (identifying, pre alerting and correcting errors) over the many corporate tools(IPAKI,SERVAL, OSCAR, etc.) in close collaboration with Group HQ / ASCENS Team
Prepares and circulates weekly operations KPI.
Prepares monthlyICDKPI reportsper Shipping Line.
Analyses Process KPI vs Actual and works with the team on root cause analysis and corrective actions (monthly).
Analyses customer complaints; working withQHSE on the root cause for presentation to Management (Monthly).
Prepares weekly analysis on the actual volume and GM generated by theICDbusiness vs budget.
Prepares any other reports that might be required by the Operations Team.
Liaise with Ascen team relating to New Contract creations, rates update and subscriptions, profile creations, field update and all issues relating to IPAKI.
Prepares monthly refund file/management relating to all ICD units from different Ports.
Responsible for EDI set-up andimplementation relating with the Shipping and Technical team (HQ).
IPAKI Support IES Level 1–To manage all activities relating to Online payment platform
Daily file opening report, analysing information, and reporting on daily status per activity/site/client/etc. for TEUs/Tons.
Daily file invoicing report, analysing information, and reporting on daily status per activity/site/client/etc. for GM and TEUs.
Analyses market statistics as provided by the HOD with emphasis on market share, top importers, competition information and market trends.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor'sdegree in BusinessStudies, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Master's degree is a plus
Minimum of5 years’ experience as aBusinessDataAnalyst in an international organisation
Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Shipping, Maritime industry is a plus
