Adexen was mandated by an industrial group to recruit a Group Head Talent Management. The position is based in Lagos.
Responsibilities
Develop a group wide talent strategy to improve recruitment and business performance
Developing and implementing employee retention programmes or strategies
Understanding workforce planning and resource forecasting.
Developing effective strategies for identifying skills gaps within the workforce
Articulate the corporate culture and underlying values for the Group and its businesses and drive the implementation across the Group
Developing and implementing progressive talent management policies and processes for all roles across the Group
Managing talent promotion and succession planning process
Own all talent attraction and retention projects and initiatives across the Group for C level roles
Serve as an advisor regarding key talent strategies and issues, including succession planning, leadership development, employee retention, compensation and benefits etc.
Managing a highly-skilled team to assist with talent development and acquisition
Planning regular employee performance reviews and feeding back to the business
Ensuring the talent processes are implemented, communicated, and integrated
Define recruitment marketing guidelines
Monitoring and reporting on staff turnover rates
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a reputable institution
MBA is a plus
Minimum 10 years of HR experience, with 5 years specifically in a similar senior position within an international corporation or a leading consulting company
Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organisational change and development within a growing organisation
Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting
Outstanding collaboration skills
Working knowledge of any HR cloud based software is required
Strong understanding of leading HR practices and industry trends
Strategy agility and capability to partner with business and HR
leadership
Strong influence skills and capable to work in matrix organisations
Leadership assessment, coaching and development experience is highly preferred
Critical thinker strong analytical, consulting, coaching and influence skills
