Adexen was mandated by a leading real estate and construction Company to recruit an experienced Project Coordinator for their operations in Nigeria. The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Responsibilities
Assist project manager with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information. Be able to organise projects with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget, for large scale residential and/or commercial building sites.
Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures
Organising, attending and participating in project meetings
Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
Ensuring project deadlines are met
Budgeting, planning and implement project changes
Providing administrative support as needed
Ensuring projects adhere to procedures and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution
Updating and maintaining all construction related inputs to the company ERP
Preparing all legal paperwork for contractors
Assist with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks such as material, asset procurement and labour
Collecting and analysing relevant data for project performance evaluation
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in construction management from a reputable University
Master's degree is a plus
Minimum 5 years experience as project coordinator within a large construction company
International experience or education is a great advantage
Well-organised
Advance spreadsheet program skills
High proficiency in MS projects and primaver
Familiar with international industry standards
Detail-Oriented
